Ammunition, firearms and optics database
Data from manufacturers' data sheets and catalogues — the same database the pointMoA app uses: 591 loads, 669 firearm models and 405 optics.
What is in the database
Calibres and loads
A ballistic table for 27 calibres with complete data: drop, drift and energy of every load, computed by the app engine under the same conditions. Firearms in that calibre below the table.
Go to calibres
Calibre comparisons
12 pairs of calibres for the same kind of firearm side by side: median and range of drop, drift and energy, plus a drop chart.

Optics
405 models in 6 categories: red dot sights, riflescopes, LPVOs, prism and holographic sights, magnifiers — reticle, magnification and mounting from manufacturers' data sheets.

How to read the data
- Numbers come from manufacturers' data sheets and catalogues. A missing value stays missing — nothing is guessed or derived from another quantity.
- Links go to manufacturers' pages, not to shops.
- The portal holds a copy of the app database: new records reach the app first and this site with the next copy.
- Calibre tables are indicative — they are computed from catalogue data, not from your barrel and your ammunition lot.
The pointMoA app
The same database in the app
In the pointMoA app this database suggests the firearm model, the load and the optic when you add your own gear to the Armory. Firearms, optics and ammunition entered once work across the whole toolkit: calculator, zeroing and log — no account and no Internet connection.
